A pair of swans searching for a place to roost for the night. These elegant birds settle in to the open waters throughout the Jackson Hole valley for the winter, be it gently moving water or one of the areas warm springs. Once nearly hunted to extinction due to demand for their fashionable feathers, their population has rebounded after extensive conservation efforts. These two are likely mates which will stay together for their entire lives and will hopefully further contribute to the recovery of their species.
