After weeks of anticipation, famed Grizzly 399 emerges at the age of 27 with a cub of the year in tow making her the oldest documented Grizzly Bear in the Yellowstone Ecosystem. This was the cubs first time seeing humans. The cub would later be nicknamed Spirit, given their spirited demeanor.
