The moon peeks out from behind dramatic layers of clouds over the iconic Oxbow Bend. An homage to one of the masters, Ansel Adams, whose work laid the groundwork for modern day conservation photography. The textures and contrasts of this scene spoke to me even more than the beautiful Fall colors this location is known for.
